Stipends for medical doctoral researchers

The DFG-funded “Graduiertenkolleg 2606” aims to uncover the functions and substrates of proteolytic enzymes in various physiological and pathological processes. We are an interdisciplinary international team of the Medical Faculty Freiburg that offers opportunity for doctoral theses in medicine and life sciences.

This call asks for applications for medical students that aim to conduct an experimental medical thesis. We offer:

• Full time research for one or two semesters, typically starting at the beginning of the semester – individual exceptions are possible
• Full participation in the scientific and qualification program of RTG 2606
• DFG stipends (1095 Euro/month) for 6 to 12 months
